Ink-Jet Printer Sales are Down This Year.

A report released earlier this month indicates that ink-jet printer sales are down 12% this year over last year.  There are a few factors that have contributed to this decline.

Getting a new printer is not a priority for people this year.  But that is not all of it.  Ink-jet printer sales are down by 12%, but ink sales have fallen 6%.

Consumers are also looking for better ink value.  Most inexpensive ink-jet printers are priced lower than one set of replacement ink for the printer.

Several consumers are also seeing the long term value in purchasing laser printers. Laser printer have come down significantly in price over the years.
