Generally people keep our printers for a couple of years before having to replace it. Even so, recycling your old printer is a better option than just dumping it in your garbage can.
Here are some green ideas for what to do with your old printer.
If your printer is in working condition, you could:
- Donate your old printer to a charaty or other local group that could use it.
- Sell your printer at a garage sale or other online site such as eBay or Craigslist.com
- Donate your printer to a local thrift store
If your printer is not in working condition you can contact the US Environmental Protection Agency and ask for information on how to recycle electronics.
