Years ago we all read out the how the future offices would be paperless. Well, it is 2010 and we consume more paper now then ever before. Not only does paper cost us money it has a much higher cost on the environment.
A few quick ways to save on paper:
Use auto-duplexing on your printer if it is available. If it is not automatic, then go and turn the paper around yourself. Being able to print on both sides of a piece of paper can save a lot of paper in the long run. Theoretically, you could cut you paper usage in half, although realistically that might not be possible.
Another easy, but overlooked way to cut back on paper is not print unless you actually need a hard copy of it. Easier said than done. Before you print really think if actually need to or not.
Print with multiple pages on a sheet. Most printers have an option to printer 1, 2, or 4 pages per side of paper. This is useful if you need to print several pages of a document out for others to view.
