Error code S05: Error with data bus
This error code indicates a problem in data transmission form you PC to the printer port. To fix it just reboot your computer and printer once, most times it resolves the issue.
Error code E51: Fault with protection in the laser beam
This code appears when the beam, mirrors or the led of the printer is not in its proper place. Just fix them in the right place and in right position, the issue will be resolved.
Error code E50: Fuser unit damage
This code appears when the heat roller gets damaged; replace the heat roller with a new one that will resolve the issue.
Error message ‘Black pages’
This code implies that your printers HVPS is at fault. This code is more common in Brother 960 and Brother 1260 range of models. To fix this issue you just need to replace the diodes and put jumper wire instead. Diodes D31, D33, D30 and D32 will need replacement. For the jumper wire you will need a gauge of 22.
