Print Your Own Postcards at Home

Printing your own postcards is easy and a nice way to have a personal touch to your mailings.

The size of a postcard through the postal service:
Minimum: 3-1/2 inches high by 5 inches long by 0.007 inch thick
Maximum: 6 inches long by 4-1/4 inches high

If your postcard is within that mailing size, you qualify for the reduced postcard mailing rate. If it measures outside these limits the normal letter rate will apply.

Some quick tips for printing your own post cards at home:

• Print a test post card in draft mode to make sure it will come out exactly as you want it to.
• Have extra ink cartridges on hand. It can be annoying to have to stop in the middle of your printing project because you ran out of ink
• Search online for postcard templates and ideas.
