The European Parliament to use Recycled Ink and Toner Cartridges

The European Parliament recently made a resolution to completely switch to using remanufactured and recycled inkjet and toner cartridges for all of their printers.  This is a big step forward for the recycled ink cartridge community with hopes that other companies will start making similar commitments.

This is a win-win situation for businesses. 1) Recycled and remanufactured ink and toner products are less than half the price. and 2) When a company buys recycled ink jet cartridges, they are keeping cartridges out of landfills.

The European Parliament purchases and discards more than 10,000 ink cartridges every year.  It is estimated that they will save a total of 40% on their ink costs each year by this switch.

Purchasing recycled and remanufactured ink jet and toner cartridges is easy, inexpensive, and a smart choice for the environment.
